Vindsröjning (Attic cleansing) is a surrealist drama bordering on slapstic. The action takes place in a two hundred year old windmill and the woman acting as hussard has not had any opportunity to rehearse. She has just been given some very short instructions before performing this disturbing duel. Sources of inspiration are “The Night Porter” by Liliana Cavani, “The duelists” by Ridley Scott, and the painting “Vindsröjning”, by Gösta Adrian Nilsson from 1937.
